I loved Noel's ballet stories as a child and still have her Ballet Annual which I still adore. Thank you as usual for the treats Scott. An Elizabeth Fair tale - when the 6 EF titles were reissued by you back in 2017 I bought them all in Kindle format, and read them, not one right after the other, but fairly quickly (or so I thought.) Last month the 1954 club had at least one person read and review her novel The Native Heath, so I decided to re-read that one in preparation for the upcoming publication of The Marble Staircase. Low and behold, I had somehow missed reading The Native Heath. Did I ever feel foolish, as I had felt certain I had read all 6. I did a quick sampling of first chapters and see I DID read the other 5 at the time.

I can see I will have to take more care with the Susan Scarlott's when they come out, to be sure one doesn't fall through the cracks.

JerriAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5595702824833504762.post-36182582817407922942022-05-21T12:35:02.812-07:002022-05-21T12:35:02.812-07:00Ooh lovely!
