I've been busy this year with work and no opportunities to bake sourdough bread like everyone else, although my job is more mundane (transcriber to ghostwriters and journalists, and editor). I have published a top 16 of which one was a FM book but they get an honourable mention, too!LyzzyBeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16398604923871095647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5595702824833504762.post-10286541911300403802021-01-01T20:54:45.217-08:002021-01-01T20:54:45.217-08:00What a list! She and Wodehouse are hands down the writers I would bring to the proverbial desert island (I would just hope it is off Scotland, not some tropical place).Nanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15547916206007733970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5595702824833504762.post-8645371142366508152021-01-01T13:22:55.373-08:002021-01-01T13:22:55.373-08:00Happy Happy 2021 to you and Andy - it has to be be...Happy Happy 2021 to you and Andy - it has to be better, right? But now, I suspect your job makes severe demands on both your time and your work ethic, to say nothing of your sense of concern for others, so more power to you.

Rather than list some of this year's faves, I'll just reveal here that, having just input all my 2020 reading from my journal into my spreadsheet, I have, not surprisingly, fallen way short of the usual numbers, and just managed to clear 80 books read this year. And, also unsurprisingly, 37 were rereads; nearly half, as opposed to the usual 30%. (And I know without counting there were a record number of books this year that I started and didn't finish )

Read Long and Prosper in 2021Susan Dhttp://www.susandaly.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5595702824833504762.post-29576247146677847082020-12-31T15:01:37.913-08:002020-12-31T15:01:37.913-08:00So glad you paused your blog holiday to give us yo...So glad you paused your blog holiday to give us your end of year post. And so glad but jealous that you were able to read so much Molly Clavering. Any chances you might be able to publish some of her works as Furrowed Middlebrow titles some day?

Best wishes for a wonderful 2021.

JerriAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5595702824833504762.post-41072624424255603762020-12-31T13:48:40.610-08:002020-12-31T13:48:40.610-08:00And a very Happy New Year to you and Andy, Scott! ...And a very Happy New Year to you and Andy, Scott!
