Of course, since O, the Brave Music is my favourite book ever, and I haven't read Miss Plum, etc, I do wish that was the example of hers you'd chosen! :)Nataliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00738868624262818821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5595702824833504762.post-92070357715363499922017-03-18T06:02:24.511-07:002017-03-18T06:02:24.511-07:00Another fun segment of your list. The Lark Shall Sing is also in "print" as an audiobook, which is how I first encountered it, and it is very well done indeed.

JerriAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5595702824833504762.post-1409598927019727072017-03-17T02:18:11.969-07:002017-03-17T02:18:11.969-07:00Yes, these enticing lists are not helping my bank ...Yes, these enticing lists are not helping my bank balance! I read Elizabeth Goudge's The Child from the Sea (1970) when I was in high school and remember it with fondness. I might still have it in a box somewhere. It was about Charles II's "first love" Lucy Walters and started me down a long path of historicals. I have Green Dolphin Street but its still in TBR status. Need more time to read! citronyellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18195143718464850048noreply@blogger.com
